Howdy,

I’m Tricia Lewis, one of the co-founders of MyCareTrac. I just wanted to take a moment to share something deeply personal and exciting with you—what we’re up to, why it matters, and where we’re headed. Well, we’ve been developing MyCareTrac, an easy-to-use online system that supports helpers walking with others through reproductive grief and loss. But honestly, it’s more than just software—it’s kind of a revolution.

A couple of years ago, while I was knee-deep in my PhD program, I started asking myself two specific questions: How many people are out there offering after-abortion healing in the U.S. or even the world? And how many women and men are walking through that healing journey? It was frustrating to realize that there was no way to know.

Around the same time, I started volunteering with a fantastic after-abortion care organization. They had me manage call data on a massive Excel spreadsheet that only a few faithful people understood. Even though I’m pretty tech-savvy, I was worried I might mess up the data and misrepresent what the organization and the client needed. It was disheartening, to say the least.

The frustration grew as I considered the real unsung hero—the caregiver walking alongside hurting individuals day in and day out (maybe for decades) without support or even acknowledgment.

And the questions kept coming. By supporting helpers, can we also gather the hard-won data needed to inspire a cultural change? What type of care do they offer (after-abortion care? All reproductive grief and loss care?) Do they work with men or women? Do they offer online or in-person care? Are they meeting at a church or a coffee shop? How many people who received faith-based after-abortion care chose not to have another abortion? Does their church, clinic, city, or state receive these numbers?

For over 30 years, my husband and his team have been crafting software for a completely different industry. One day, while venting my frustration, I said, “I wish our ministry had what your company has developed!” To my surprise, he looked at me and said, “Yes. Let’s do it!” And that’s how MyCareTrac was born.

So why does this matter? Because I KNOW there are ministries out there helping people through challenging situations—prenatal diagnoses, after-abortion healing, adoption, miscarriage, you name it. These helpers need software designed for their specific needs and customized to their ministry. I also know that because they are mostly independent, ministering quietly, we do not have aggregate data to show the world their value and the number of souls receiving healing in Christ Jesus.

I am also tired of relying on the “big boy” pro-abortion statistics for much of my research—data that is often untrue, inaccurate, and misused.

By supporting reproductive loss helpers, we can effectively leverage data, optimize care, and ensure that individuals receive the support and services they need to thrive.

There is a quote, “A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.” We want the truth of God’s healing power to travel faster than the lies. We want thousands of people to enter data into MyCareTrac so that we can begin to tell the true story. We believe good data gathered as an act of worship helps all of us tell a more complete, more true, and more powerful story of how God works in and through our efforts. Good data offers tangible evidence of God making all things, all lives, new. It is a testament to his goodness.

This whole journey started with a vision to help caregivers and those affected by reproductive loss. With the commitment and innovation of our team, God has shown us His bigger plan—to transform agnostic software developed for another industry into a powerful ministry tool.

Would you like to go on this amazing journey to change the world for LIFE with us? Let’s do it and testify of God’s goodness through Jesus.

Tricia
